Hospital sessions pull at the heart strings every time.

Especially when a sibling meets their new best friend. The raw emotions, being lost in the moment, navigating a new human life.

These sessions are so special as you are sleep deprived, waiting to go home and family and firend visiting you. you forgot these first few hours and i think it is so important to document it all. whether you don’t feel your best, are sore, feel bloated, have a newborn that is not feeding well, stressed, tired, overwhelmed and really don’t think you need these photos, trust me you do!. I personally wish I had it all documented, especially when the kids ask, what they looked like when they were first born, did they cry at the hospital, where their feet all wrinkly (the wrinkly feet only last about 72 hours, before they change).

This session was so special to me and the family. Rach has been through so much to get here and I was so honour to make sure i capture this special time for them. I think the images capture how much love was in that room.
